How to Design an Active Learning Session in Moodle

This course introduces IMU faculty to the principles and practical strategies of active learning within the Moodle environment. Participants will explore how to design engaging online learning sessions that encourage student participation, collaboration and critical thinking. The course covers a five-step approach to planning active learning activities and demonstrates how Moodle tools can be used to support interactive and student-centred learning experiences. By the end of the course, participants will be able to design and implement active learning sessions aligned with intended learning outcomes to enhance student engagement and learning.
