Micro-credential in Management of Microvascular and Macrovascular Complications

As a diabetes educator, it is essential to understand and apply evidence-based approach in diabetes management and education. This course emphasizes the importance of research in generating new knowledge in the field of diabetes management and education. The fundamental knowledge and the process of research and critical appraisal will be learnt as well as basic biostatistics skill. Students conduct an audit exercise in their diabetes services or facilities. Students will obtain the core knowledge in conceptualizing the research process and also practicing the learnt critical thinking skills.
